Team Development

Teamwork

We have worked very well as a team,
  • Sharing ideas
  • Being creative
  • Developing ideas
  • Making decisions
  • Listening to opinions
  • Increased confidence
  • Thinking about ideas, and using initiative
  • Developed catchy taglines eg. Bag-a-bun
  • Taking the audience into consideration.
  • Understanding the needs of peers
  • Leadership - Developed roles within the group
Thoughts on activities

  • Paper planes - Got to know each others interests better, less boring than passing paper
  • Inspirational speech - Motivated us to carry out tasks
  • Group discussion - Was good to develop roles within the team
  • Mind maps - Development research
  • Creativity - Bouncing ideas off one and other, makes it easier to share ideas
  • Having mentors to share brilliant ideas - Brought buns :)

Name selection

We came up with the name The I Team because:
  • Fits in with the course name Interactive Media.
  • We consider ourselves similar to The A Team.
    • We're strong and powerful.
    • We like challenges.
    • We can sometimes be daft (Amy)
    • Because we're "mint as owt!".
    • We work as a team (theres no I in team, but there is in Interactive Media (y))
    • We love it when a plan comes together.
    • We also pity the fools!
  • Because we are a team.
  • It's short, catchy and memorable.
